Discover Almond Smugglers Cove, a spacious, village-style resort located on a 60-acre estate with lush tropical gardens on a secluded bay boasting its own stretch of sandy beach. Located on the Northwest Coast of St. Lucia on Cap Estate and across from the St. Lucia Golf Resort & Country Club. Almond Smugglers Cover becomes the fifth resort in the Almond Resort family of all-inclusives.
Cancellations: A minimum of four nights cancellation charge will be applied for any booking cancelled.
During the period 21/12-5/1 there will be a 50% cancellation charge for cancelled bookings over 30 days before travel and 100% cancellation charges for any cancelled booking made within 30 days of arrival.
WEDDING PACKAGES
For stays over 7 nights in any room type but the standard twin, there is a free Wedding in Paradise Package available which includes normal government fees, registrar costs, ceremony charges, services of a wedding co-ordinator, clergyman or magistrate, decorated site for the wedding, bouquet of local garden flowers for the bride, boutonniere for the groom, wedding cake, one botttle of champagne. Optional extras that should be booked in advance include photographer, additional champagne, background of island music, video. Wedding dates are subject to availability.
For bookings of over 10 nights in anything but a standard twin Wedding in Heaven Package is free of charge and includes on top of the Wedding in Paradise Package a manicure for bride and groom, decorated bedroom, special celebration dinner for two with personalised menus, breakfast in bed the morning after the wedding and two commemorative glasses.
The resort’s 357 rooms are available in five categories and are located in single-story buildings set in the tropical gardens or overlooking Smugglers Cove itself. All the newly refurbished are with king or twin beds. For parties of more than two, additional guests are accommodated on rollaway or sofa beds. All rooms offer a patio, air conditioning, private bath/shower or walk-in shower, safety deposit
box, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee maker, iron/board, satellite colour TV and beach towels. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby.
Standard: Beautifully nestled throughout the property overlooking the tropical gardens. Max. occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 child 0-16 years.
Deluxe Garden View: Located throughout the property, these rooms have vaulted ceilings and spectacular garden views. Max.occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 child 0-16 years.
Superior Deluxe Garden View: Located on a hillside near the Racquet Club with tropical garden views, these rooms offer an oasis of peace and quiet away from the activities of the resort. Max. occupancy: 2 adults.
Superior Deluxe Beachfront: Located near the beach or atop a hillside, these spacious rooms with Japanese tubs are perfect for watching a romantic Caribbean sunset over the ocean. Max. occupancy: 2 adults.
One Bedroom Garden View Suite: Consists of a spacious bedroom with an adjoining living room, some separated with French doors. Bedroom flows into a large vanity area. Bathrooms with walk-in showers can be requested. Max. occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults + 3 children 0 - 16 years.
Guests of Almond Smugglers Cove have a choice of five gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as roomservice for lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for all restaurants for dinner only.
There is a choice of five bars, including a swim-up pool bar, all serving name brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all-inclusive programme.
Nightly entertainment includes live music and shows, a late night bar and a weekly Manager’s Cocktail Party.
The Cove - A continental restaurant serving a buffet style breakfast with made to order omelets, full lunch and á la carte evening menu from around the world. A British style high tea is served every afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30pm.
Waterside Grill - Enjoy the catch of the day from this ocean view location. Open for breakfast and dinner.
Café Enid’s - A French/Caribbean restaurant, offering local delicacies, open for dinner and exclusively for adults over 16 years.
La Trattoria - Enjoy the delights of the resort’s Italian restaurant with wood oven pizzas and hand-made pastas. Open for lunch and dinner.
The Great House - A gourmet restaurant located in a grand plantation house, regarded as one of St. Lucia’s finest dining establishments. It is located adjacent to the main Almond Smugglers Cove Resort. Reservations are required and meals at this restaurant are not included in the Almond all-inclusive programme.
Activities & Sports
Enjoy snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, banana boat rides, water skiing and free green fees on the nearby Cap Estate Golf Course. (Limited to 3 free 18-hole rounds per 7-night stay - compulsory cart fee charges apply). The hotel has its own Racquet Club, which is equipped with 7 tennis courts, a squash court, a fitness centre and beauty treatment rooms offering various treatments (at extra cost) including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.
Kids Club
Our children's programme at Almond Smugglers Cove will replicate the successful kids' clubs at the other family friendly Almond Resorts in St. Lucia and Barbados. It has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborns to teens, keeping them happily entertained with playgrounds, kiddie pools and fully equipped activity centres. Our fully qualified staff allows parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their little ones are supervised and well looked-after.
